Friday was a day many area residents will long remember. It began like most days this month. The skies were clear, the temperature was moderate and the wind was calm.
On Nov. 2, Coleridge Fire and Rescue was paged out to a field fire four miles east of Coleridge. Four trucks and seven firefighters responded along with an ambulance and three EMTs.
Happy Holidays! Where did our 2017 go to! It was a busy 2017 but I can truly say that I have enjoyed meeting so many First Responders from across the state.

Yankton firefighters responded to a report of a fully involved mobile home fire two miles east of Yankton at 9:38 p.m. Monday night, Dec. 4.
A fire in a duplex house in Yankton did extensive fire damage to the south half of the unit while causing considerable smoke damage to the north half.
