Yarmouth paged out to garage fire

Yarmouth Fire was paged out Sunday, Jan. 25, 10:10 a.m. to a garage fire. Mediapolis and Danville Fire were on auto page to assist. Mutual aid was requested from Morning Sun, Wapello, Winfield, Mt. Union and Olds Fire Departments. The fire was brought under control in five hours. The 80’x 100’ shop was a total loss along with six semi tractors. The shop was a family-owned trucking repair shop known as TnJ Trucking. Submitted by Jeff Kerr.
